Art history has many artists who look for representing human being in his daily life and his leisure. From the Egyptians to the ancient Greeks behind the Olympic Games, from the Impressionists to contemporary artists, movement has always been an inquenchable source of inspiration. In its special report – Learning to paint movement, the magazine ARTISTES mag explores art history and highlights artists who have painted or are still painting moving subjects. I must admit, I am proud and delighted to have been part of this amazing casting with renowned international artists like Toulouse-Lautrec, Victor Spahn and many others.
Published for the 1st time in February 2018, the magazine brings a larger view on art and artistic skills for all beginners and experienced painters or art lovers. It highlights artistic practice through thematic files, interviews with artists, practical advice, etc … A large information source for all painting lovers. He accompanies and helps artists to discover new techniques and to practice through a step by step creation process.
Magazine n°25 was published in July 2022, journalist Miguel Ramis deals with the representation of the body in motion from antiquity to the present day, a vast subject, that each artist has appropriated and interpreted in his own way, an astonishing artistic diversity.
As part of this special feature, I get interviewed by Miguel who try to better understand my approach of movement in painting. A big thank you for this beautiful moment of sharing.
