This is precisely what motivated me to join Guillaume Renoud, president of the association “24 for all for 1″, and to participate in this sports project, artistic and deeply humanistic.[\/vc_column_text][dt_call_to_action background=”fancy”]<\/p>\n
\u00ab\u00a0Impossible is just a big word<\/span><\/strong> Impossible is not a fact.<\/span><\/strong> Mohammed Ali<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n [\/dt_call_to_action][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1\/3″][vc_single_image image=”36329″ img_size=”large” add_caption=”yes” alignment=”center”][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”2\/3″][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n Guillaume RENOUD:<\/strong><\/strong> A few days before the validation of the Olympic Games for Paris, in Lima, and in a way, weeded to see all these press articles talking about corruption, doping, financial abyss,…, when he was a sports subject, it seemed important to me to put in place a project that would recall the benefits of sport and not only in practice. Indeed, every sporting event, and much more with regard to the Olympic Games, is a moment of joy, sharing, exchange and gathering. I also wanted to send a strong message through this project. Remember also that the human being, although more and more individualistic in recent years, is able to unite\/reunite people through a common goal. Then there is this strong figure: 2024. This project would not have been as strong if the ultimate goal had not been to take 2024 children to the Paris Olympic Games. Through this crazy project, I also want to show that we can do it, as long as we want to realize it and give ourselves the means. First of all, I could say that this may be the only way for me to experience them up close and\/or from the inside. Paris is finally next to my house (1h30\/1h45 train). After 100 years of waiting, I then see this event as a very big celebration of sport, the celebration of an entire country, of all French people. Then, for me, it will be the year of my 40th birthday. A new symbolic figure and strong to me. It’s also because of this work, your work, that I got in touch with you. Just like the outfits and objects offered for this exhibition, your paintings give the impression of being alive, having a life or even telling a story. I also think that the many encounters that you have had in recent years, with great champions, reflect a part of this experience, and that is reflected in your own style. So I hope to discover many more of you and your artistic work, by 2024.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n [\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n “Paris 2024: Meeting of Sport and humanity” is the title of the work specially created for the inauguration of exhibition 24 for all for all for 1. I have sought to incorporate important symbols such as the Eiffel Tower, the gold medal, the Olympic colours and the number 2024. The Olympic Games represent the sharing, group spirit, tolerance and communion of peoples. I illustrated this mix by representing 17 different sports harmoniously integrated on the canvas and the choice was not easy between all the Olympic disciples. Fencing, swimming, judo, boxing, cycling, handball, beach volleyball, basketball, athletics, diving, rowing, sprinting, pole vaulting, relay, hurdle jumping are the disciplines represented.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][dt_photos_jgrid number=”25″ target_height=”220″ category=”24-pour-tous-et-tous-pour-1″][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n

Why the idea of combining art and sport?<\/h4>\n
\nGuillaume RENOUD:<\/strong>
\n<\/strong> For me, the question would have been: Why would you want to separate art from sport? From my point of view, art, as well as sport, are two inseparable elements. Indeed, I sometimes see sport as art, in the beauty of gesture, in the realization of movements or techniques made to perfection. Art is also very close to sport, in its design. Achieving the goal, trusting oneself, learning about oneself, these are things that we find in sport, but also in the realization of a work of art. Finally, in these two elements, art and sport, we are never really sure of the result, before reaching it.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
What does the 2024 Olympics mean to you?<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Your project has just come to life with this first exhibition in Pont-de-vaux, the city where you were born, how do you feel about this inauguration?<\/strong><\/h4>\n
\nGuillaume RENOUD:<\/strong>
\n<\/em> There are many emotions in me, following this inauguration. The week before this launch was not easy and I experienced my share of emotions (death of my grandmother and funeral the day before the inauguration). Seeing so many people (elected, champions, artists, family, friends, acquaintances) at that evening touched me a lot, and then I realized at that time that this project had just been born. Everything became concrete. I was also delighted to share this beautiful evening with all the people who have been helping me since the beginning (My wife, my parents, my in-laws, C\u00e9line, Pauline, Cyriaque, Nelly,… and so many others). Finally, I wanted to carry out this inauguration on Pont-de-Vaux and on this date, the eve of the start of the school year. Maybe from a symbolic point of view, again. A project for children and its beginning, what better way to talk about it in the run-up to the start of the school year?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
Through this project, you embody another vision of sport and its values, what did he bring to you as a practitioner and coach to wish to share this adventure with 2024 children?<\/h4>\n
\nGuillaume RENOUD:<\/em>
\n<\/strong> Sport, since my childhood, has allowed me to learn about myself and others. As a judoka for 28 years, I have always tried to implement what we have been taught through the moral code. I continue to do so through my teaching. Sport is also a second family. You live there, just like in your own family, joys, sorrows, and very strong bonds can be created within a group, a club, a selection. To want to share this adventure with these 2024 children is also to give through this sporting event, what sport has given me so much for all these years.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
Why did you invite me to participate in this exhibition?<\/strong><\/h4>\n
\nGuillaume RENOUD:<\/strong>
\n<\/em> Since the beginning of this project, many of my meetings have been carried out by the greatest chance. As if, with each person, we had to meet. This is what I felt with all the champions involved in this project but, it is also what I felt through your paintings, which I was able to discover on social networks. As I deepened my research, I noticed an artist full of talent. Your vision of the sporting gesture, the emotions in your paintings, your faceless characters have made me want to know you and discover your universe. As for my exhibition, it seemed obvious to me to ask you to join this adventure and to highlight your work.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
